I had wanted to tackle this cosplay for a while- mainly because I had never made this style of gown before. It is created from my Verosika dress pattern, which was made to fit over a steel boned corset and strapless bra. It is completely lined with mystique spandex fabric. I made the whole dress in only 3 days. It was extremely frustrating because my machine did not like the sequins, and trying to desequin several yards of fabric on the allowance is very, very slow. I think over half of the time I spent on this cosplay was in rhinestone application. Most are red, but I applied some pink and purple along the edges as well for depth. The dress is very heavy, but I think it looks wonderful on. The heels are entirely covered in glass rhinestones, and the undersides I painted purple for contrast.
